The Legal Internship and Certificate Course offered by Legal Pathagar aims at freshers in Kolkata who require completion of their compulsory internship period along with gaining skills in practical aspects of law. The course includes both internship as well as certificate training in legal research and drafting of cases and cases analyses aimed at freshers entering the field of law for the first time.
As per the guidelines of the Bar Council of India (BCI), all law students are required to undertake a certain period of internship. Students pursuing five-year integrated B.A. LLB degree are required to complete a minimum of 20 weeks of internship whereas those pursuing three-year LLB degree are required to complete at least 12 weeks of internship. Internship needs to be undertaken throughout the duration of the course, with at least one internship every semester, but not more than four weeks in one academic year.
